If you are Visiting…

Welcome to St. John’s Shaughnessy, where worship is a beautiful and profound experience that engages all your senses. Our liturgy is designed to help you connect with God’s love and the mystery of faith with inspiring sermons, uplifting music, and heartfelt prayers. We welcome people from all walks of life and backgrounds to join us on our spiritual journey. Experience the transformative power of worship. Our community values love, connection, and spiritual growth, and we would be honoured to have you join us.

Coming for the First Time

As a first-time visitor, we want you to feel welcome. You’ll receive a bulletin that contains all the necessary information about our worship services. Children, youth, adults, and elders will be together as we offer gratitude and wonder for this gift of life. We encourage you to participate in comfort, whether dressed up or wearing jeans. We use the treasures of the Anglican Church of Canada’s Prayer Books and Hymn Books in an Anglo-Catholic liturgy.

After the 10:00 AM service, we invite you to a hospitality hour where you can meet new friends and ask any questions about our worship or parish life. We’d love to get to know you better, so please fill out a Connection Card in the church entranceway. We want to stay in touch with you since we understand it may take at least three visits to become comfortable and fully connect with our parish family.
