St John’s Shaughnessy is a beautiful performance space both acoustically and visually. The space may be requested by music groups as a rehearsal and/or performance venue.
The St John’s Shaughnessy event calendar published on this website gives a general overview of events at the church. Along with the regular worship services, the building is used by both performance and non-performance groups as well as by movie and film companies.
There is also a reception area for up to 120 people adjacent to the church across a lawned area accessed by a covered walkway. The Trendell Lounge has a full commercial kitchen. This facility can also be requested at an additional cost.
Please provide as much information as possible about you desired date(s) and your group’s requirements and alternative dates as well. Our event calendar is only a guide. Not all bookings are posted on our calendar.
If you need rehearsal time in addition to your performance, please fill in the information about the performance and, in the “special considerations” section, add any additional requirements for rehearsals.
Users and groups should have their own liability insurance. If you do not have liability insurance, HUB International has a Group User Program through All Sports Insurance Marketing Ltd.
